Hallway Face Lift
The second floor of our house has a pretty odd layout. Through the master bedroom is a long hallway that leads to a bathroom on the right and a small space, which we use as an office/storage room, at the very back of the house. The hallways that leads back there has been untouched since we moved in three years ago, but it’s time to give it some life.
I’ve been toying with the idea of using wallpaper for a while now and this seems like the perfect low-stakes project to see how it fares, as well as how I fare in hanging it.
There’s a lot of beautiful wallpaper out there these days. Some if it is really expensive and some if it looks questionable at best. After scouring pages and pages of patterns, here are the finalists:
Option 1: Daydream (Blue) Tiles by Julia Rothman
Option 3: Isobar by littlesmilemakers
Option 4: Jewel in Charcoal from Chasing Paper
I think I know what I’m leaning towards on this one, but I’d be curious to see what you think. Also, have you used wallpaper in your home? Do you recommend it? Should I stick with my trusty can of paint instead?
